what it costs

Clear pricing, whatever your bite

The first step is a free Smile Assessment, in the clinic or over Zoom. A full diagnostic work-up with a written plan and exact quote is $390. Simple cosmetic treatment from $7,900, comprehensive specialist treatment from $9,900 with most cases around $10,400, all-inclusive of records, appliances, appointments, retainers and aftercare. Interest-free in-house plans work out around $60 to $76 a week, and family discounts apply for siblings.

finding the cause

Not sure which one fits? Here is how we find out

Many of these bites and smiles overlap, and a lot of them are hard to spot from the outside. The good news is you do not need to work out which one is yours. That is exactly what a specialist assessment is for.

A proper look

Start with a complimentary 20-minute Smile Assessment with Colleen, in clinic or on Zoom. It is a relaxed, no-obligation chance to talk through what you have noticed and what you would like to change. No referral is needed.

A specialist diagnosis

When it is time for a full work-up, specialist orthodontist Dr Shaz MacAvoy reviews photographs, digital 3D scans and any x-rays needed, to pinpoint what is happening with your teeth and jaws beneath the surface.

A plan made for you

You then receive a clear treatment plan and an exact quote in writing, with the right appliance chosen for your case. First appointments are usually available within three weeks.

It also helps to know that many of these conditions travel together. Crowding often comes hand in hand with a bite that does not quite meet, and a habit like thumb sucking can shape how the teeth and jaws grow. Rather than trying to label it yourself, it is far easier to let a specialist see the whole picture and tell you what, if anything, is worth doing.

For children, an early check from around age seven lets us catch anything that needs guiding while there is plenty of natural growth to work with. Often the answer is simply to keep an eye on things for now. Whatever your age, most of these conditions are very treatable once we understand exactly what is going on, and the sooner we take a look, the more options you tend to have. There is no cost and no obligation in finding out where you stand.
