East Auckland smiles,
finished properly.
Milk Orthodontics is in Newmarket, an easy run from Howick, Pakuranga, Botany and the eastern bays, and East Auckland families have been making the trip to us for years. Here is why, and how we make the distance feel small.

The specialist first, the drive second
Orthodontic treatment is a one to two year decision with a lifetime result. East Auckland parents tell us the same thing: for that, you choose the right specialist, and the drive sorts itself out.
Specialist-planned results
Every case at Milk is diagnosed and planned by a specialist orthodontist with around three extra years of university training. That is the difference you are driving for.
Visits are 6 to 10 weeks apart
Treatment is not a weekly commitment. After the first visits, adjustments run roughly every 6 to 10 weeks, and we work around school hours where we can.
Start over Zoom, free
The free 20 minute Smile Assessment can happen over Zoom. Meet us, ask everything, and find out whether treatment is even needed before anyone gets in the car.
Serving all of East Auckland and the bays
The drive to Newmarket usually takes 20 to 35 minutes depending on traffic, along the Southeastern Highway or around Tamaki Drive from the bays.
Specialist care for every age
One practice for the whole family: children's early assessment, teens, and adults, with braces, clear aligners and LightForce custom braces all available. See real before and after results from patients across Auckland.
Clear pricing, no surprises
The first step is a free Smile Assessment, in the clinic or over Zoom. A full diagnostic work-up with a written plan and exact quote is $390. Simple cosmetic treatment from $7,900, comprehensive specialist treatment from $9,900 with most cases around $10,400, all-inclusive of records, appliances, appointments, retainers and aftercare. Interest-free in-house plans work out around $60 to $76 a week, and family discounts apply for siblings.
Answered honestly
Is it worth travelling from Howick or Pakuranga to Newmarket for orthodontics?
Families tell us yes. Orthodontic treatment is a one to two year decision you live with for life, so most parents choose the specialist and the result first and the drive second. During treatment you visit roughly every 6 to 10 weeks, not weekly, so the trip matters far less than people expect.
How often would we need to come in to Newmarket?
After the initial visits to plan and fit, adjustment appointments run roughly every 6 to 10 weeks. Most East Auckland families pair them with school holidays, sport in town or a Newmarket shop, and we work around school hours where we can.
Can we start without driving in?
Yes. The free 20 minute Smile Assessment can happen over Zoom, so you can meet us, ask everything and find out whether treatment is even needed before anyone gets in the car. No referral is needed.
Will Milk Orthodontics open a clinic closer to East Auckland?
Our second clinic opens in Albany on the North Shore in August 2026. For East Auckland, Newmarket remains the closest clinic, an easy run along the Southeastern Highway or Tamaki Drive, and it is where most of our East Auckland families are treated.
