Newmarket and Albany both work from out west
West Auckland families reach us two ways: the Northwestern Motorway straight into Newmarket, or the Upper Harbour Motorway to our new Albany clinic on the North Shore, which is now taking bookings. Choose either clinic, and switch between them at any time for your convenience.
Newmarket, via SH16
From Henderson, New Lynn, Glen Eden, Titirangi, Avondale and Blockhouse Bay, the Northwestern runs straight to Newmarket. Suite 27, 2 Nuffield Street, opposite Newmarket Train Station, with parking a minute away.
Albany, via SH18
From Hobsonville, Westgate, Massey and Kumeu, the Upper Harbour Motorway makes Albany the handy option. Our new clinic at 6-8 Munroe Lane opens August 2026 and is taking bookings now.

Is there a specialist orthodontist in West Auckland?
Milk Orthodontics is not based in West Auckland, but we care for many West Auckland families. Our Newmarket clinic is an easy run in on the Northwestern Motorway, and our new Albany clinic, now taking bookings, is handy for Hobsonville, Massey and the northwest via the Upper Harbour Motorway. You can choose either clinic and switch between them at any time.
Which Milk clinic is easier from West Auckland?
It depends where you are. From Henderson, New Lynn, Glen Eden, Titirangi and Avondale, Newmarket via State Highway 16 is usually simplest. From Hobsonville, Westgate, Massey and Kumeu, Albany via State Highway 18 is often quicker. Pick whichever suits, and you can change your mind between visits.
How many trips will treatment involve?
After the initial visits, adjustment appointments are typically every 6 to 10 weeks depending on your treatment, so most families make the trip less often than they expect. We book ahead so you can plan around school and work.
Can any appointments happen without driving in?
Yes. The free Smile Assessment with our Treatment Coordinator can happen over Zoom, so you can meet us and get an honest starting answer from home in West Auckland before deciding anything.
What does orthodontic treatment cost?
Children's early treatment starts from $4,500, simple cosmetic treatment from $7,900 and comprehensive specialist treatment from $9,900, all inclusive of records, appointments, retainers and aftercare including GST. Interest free payment plans work out around $60 to $76 a week.
Do we need a referral from our dentist?
No. You can book directly with no referral needed. If your dentist has referred you or given you notes or x-rays, bring them along and we will pick up from there.
