We use two trusted clear aligner systems, chosen case by case. Whichever is right for you, the planning and the monitoring are done by a specialist orthodontist, not handed off to a lab or an app.

A series of see-through trays made to fit your teeth, swapped every week or two as your teeth move.

Recycle your old aligners with us
Used aligners cannot go in your kerbside recycling, so they usually end up in landfill. Through our TerraCycle program we recycle them properly, and we are happy to take trays from other brands too, including Invisalign. Bring your old aligners in next time you visit.

Common questions about clear aligners
How do clear aligners work?
Clear aligners are a series of custom-made, see-through trays. You wear each set for a week or two, around twenty two hours a day, and they gradually move your teeth into place. They are removable for eating and cleaning, and most people barely notice you are wearing them.
How much do clear aligners cost in Auckland?

Are clear aligners as good as braces?
For many cases clear aligners work just as well as braces, and the right choice depends on your teeth. Aligners are excellent for milder crowding and spacing, and for adults who want something discreet and removable. Braces are more reliable for complex movements. As a specialist we will recommend whichever gives you the better result.
Do you offer Invisalign in Auckland?
We do not currently offer Invisalign. We treat with clear aligners using the Clarity and Angel Aligners systems, which our specialist chooses to suit your case. We have also treated patients with Invisalign in the past, so we are happy to talk you through the options. The priority is the right appliance for your teeth, not a particular brand name.
Can teenagers use clear aligners?
Yes, many teenagers can use clear aligners. Aligners can work well for teenagers who are reliable about wearing them for the full day. At the assessment we will give you a straight answer about whether a teen is a good candidate, or whether braces would be the safer bet.
Can I recycle my old aligners?
Yes, you can recycle your old aligners with us. Through our TerraCycle program we recycle used aligners so they do not go to landfill, and we are happy to take trays from other brands too, including Invisalign. Just bring your old aligners in.
