How do I book my first appointment at Milk Orthodontics?
You can book online any time through our booking page, or call the clinic on (09) 520 1880. You can also send a message using the form on this page and we will be in touch within 1 to 2 business days.
Where is Milk Orthodontics located?
We are on the corner of Nuffield Street and Remuera Road, at Suite 27, 2 Nuffield Street, Newmarket, Auckland 1023. A second clinic in Albany is now open.
Do I need a referral to see an orthodontist?
No referral is needed. You can book directly with us as a child, teenager or adult. If your dentist has referred you, that is welcome too.
Is there parking near the clinic?
Yes, free 2 hour parking is available less than a minute walk away at the Nuffield Street Carpark using the Westfield Plus app. Enter from 40 Nuffield Street. At Albany, there is free patient parking at the Wilson carpark on Davies Drive, plus on-street parking nearby; give your registration number to the front desk team on arrival.
Is the Albany clinic open yet?
Our Albany clinic at 6 Munroe Lane is now open, and we are now taking bookings for consultations. Book now to secure your first appointment. Albany runs on Wednesdays, by appointment for now, with more hours coming soon.
How much is a first consultation?
Your first step is a complimentary Smile Assessment at no cost. If you would like a New Patient Consultation and written treatment plan, that is $390. You can see the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Getting here
We are on the corner of Nuffield Street and Remuera Road, in the heart of Newmarket. It is an easy spot to reach whether you drive or take the train.
Complimentary parking
Enjoy two hours of complimentary parking at the Nuffield Street Carpark, activated through the Westfield Plus app. Enter from 40 Nuffield Street, then it is under a minute's walk to our door.
By train or bus
We are directly opposite Newmarket Train Station, so the train and connecting buses drop you almost at our entrance. It is one of the best-connected corners in Auckland.

Look for us on the corner of Nuffield Street and Remuera Road. If you are ever unsure on the day, give us a call on (09) 520 1880 and we will guide you in.
Opening hours
Newmarket, day by day. Appointments run Monday to Thursday, with Friday mornings kept for our admin team. Albany runs on Wednesdays, by appointment for now, with more hours coming soon.
On Friday mornings our team is here to answer calls, texts and emails, and to help with bookings and accounts, though we do not run appointments. We are closed on weekends and public holidays. If you would like to reach us outside these hours, the easiest way is to book online or send us a message, and we will pick it up on the next business day.

Meet Colleen for a complimentary 20-minute Smile Assessment, in the clinic for children and teens, or online or by video call for anyone. First appointments are usually available within three weeks.
Your plan
If you decide to go ahead, specialist orthodontist Dr Shaz MacAvoy sets out your treatment plan and exact quote in writing, at your pace.
There is never any pressure at any step, and no referral is needed to begin. Whether you are just starting to look into treatment for yourself or your child, or you are ready to get going, we are happy to help you find the right next step.
