Introducing the Milk Kids Club: Free Games That Make Healthy Smiles Fun

The Milk Kids Club is our new free club for children: six games starring Mac the octopus and Voy the seahorse, a shared leaderboard, and a short newsletter for grown-ups. Any child can join and play at milkorthodontics.co.nz/kids-club, whether they are a Milk patient or not. It costs nothing, needs no account, and works on any phone, tablet or computer.

Making smile care easy for parents

Every family knows the nightly brushing battle. The Kids Club exists to make it easier: the games do the reminding and the teaching, so you do not have to. Nagging does not work, and play does.

Right now, nobody is teaching kids how to care for their smiles through games. We thought it was time someone did. So we set ourselves a simple aim: teach kids to look after their teeth without them ever noticing they are learning. Each game in the club hides one real habit inside the fun. Catching healthy kai in a little red boat is really a game about smart snacking. Chasing sugar bugs off a giant smile with gentle circles is really how we teach brushing technique. A singing reef that asks you to repeat its tune is really the morning and night routine, learned by heart.

Meet the harbour

The games live in The Milky Voyage, a retro pixel harbour built by us, for our families. And the harbour will feel familiar, because it is home: the games are set on the Auckland waterfront, with the Sky Tower on the skyline and Rangitoto on the horizon, the same city our young smilers live in. Kids sail with Mac and Voy through six games: Snack Splash, Brush Blitz, Elastic Launch, Harbour Hopper, Sparkle Match and Routine Reef. Stars earned in any game count towards one Top Captains leaderboard, and joining the board takes nothing but a made-up nickname.

That last part matters to us as much as the fun. The club stores no accounts, no photos, no personal details about any child, ever. A nickname and a star count are the only things a leaderboard needs, so they are the only things ours has.

New games are coming

The harbour keeps growing. New educational dental care games are already in the making, each teaching another piece of looking after your smile, and Kids Club families hear about every new arrival first through the grown-ups newsletter.

For grown-ups

The newsletter is short and about once a month: new games as they launch, school holiday fun, and simple ideas for happy healthy teeth at home. You can join on the Kids Club page, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We only ever store your email and first name, nothing about your child.

Games build habits; specialists check growing smiles.
