Two good systems.
One honest answer.
Angel Aligners and Invisalign are both capable clear aligner systems, and the difference patients feel is small. What decides your result is the diagnosis, the plan and the monitoring behind the trays. We treated with Invisalign in the past and primarily use Angel Aligners today, planned start to finish by a specialist orthodontist, from $7,900 all inclusive.

The brand matters less than the plan behind it
Clear aligners are prescription medical devices, not products you buy off a shelf. Whichever brand is on the tray, teeth move because a clinician planned every step. That is the real comparison worth making.
What both systems share
Sequences of clear removable trays, changed every week or two, that move teeth progressively. Comfortable, discreet and removable for eating and cleaning.
What actually differs
Planning software, materials and manufacturing vary between brands, and clinicians develop deep expertise in the system they use daily. We know Angel Aligners inside out.
What decides your result
Diagnosis, the treatment plan, monitoring to the finish and your wear time. A specialist orthodontist controlling those four things is worth more than any logo.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Angel Aligners and Invisalign?
Both are clear aligner systems: sequences of removable transparent trays that move teeth step by step. Invisalign is the best known brand, and Angel Aligners is a major international system that Milk primarily uses. The practical differences for a patient are small compared to what really decides the result, which is the diagnosis, the treatment plan and the monitoring behind the trays.
Why does Milk use Angel Aligners instead of Invisalign?
We treated patients with Invisalign in the past, so the choice is informed, not commercial. We moved to Angel Aligners because its planning workflow gives our specialist orthodontist the fullest control over each stage of tooth movement, and the results in our hands have been excellent. We stand behind what we prescribe.
Are Angel Aligners as good as Invisalign?
In capable hands, yes. Independent of brand, aligner outcomes depend on the diagnosis, the plan and how closely treatment is monitored to the finish. That is why who plans your aligners matters more than whose logo is on the box, and at Milk every case is planned and monitored by a specialist orthodontist.
How much does clear aligner treatment cost in NZ?
At Milk Orthodontics, simple cosmetic treatment starts from $7,900 and comprehensive specialist treatment from $9,900, all inclusive of records, appointments, retainers and aftercare including GST. Interest free payment plans work out around $60 to $76 a week.
Can I still get Invisalign at Milk?
No, we no longer offer Invisalign. We are upfront about that because trust matters more to us than a search term. If aligners suit your case we will treat you with Angel Aligners, and if they do not suit your case we will tell you honestly and explain what would work better.
Are clear aligners right for every case?
No. Aligners need to be worn about 22 hours a day, and some tooth movements are more predictable with braces. At your free Smile Assessment we give you an honest read on whether aligners fit your case, your habits and your goals, before you spend anything.
